EVENIMENTE, SESIUNI DE COMUNICARI, CONFERINTE
Universitatea Babes-Bolyai a ajuns prima universitate din tara, prin prisma citarilor GoogleScholar si a vizibilitatii in mediul online: http://www.webometrics.info/en/transparent. Clasamentul a fost realizat de catre Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cientificas (CSIC) in cadrul initiativei Webometrics Ranking of World Universities.
Universitatea Babes-Bolyai a organizat miercuri, 11 iulie 2018, ceremonia de decernare a titlului Doctor Honoris Causa domnului prof. univ. dr. Ciprian Manolescu, profesor la University of California, Los Angeles, SUA. Distinctia a fost acordata in urma propunerii formulate de reprezentantii Facultatii de Matematica si Informatica pentru contributiile stiintifice remarcabile in domeniul Topologiei si Geometriei Diferentiale. Laudatio a fost prezentata de prof. univ. dr. Adrian Petrusel, decanul Facultatii de Matematica si Informatica.
PsyPills – aplicatia academica pentru telefoanele mobile elaborata de psihologii Departamentului de Psihologie Clinica si Psihoterapie din Universitatea Babes-Boylai – a fost inclusa intre primele 50 de aplicatii din Romania in clasamentul aplicatiilor dedicate stilului de viata (Mobile App Ranking). In clasamentul recent al aplicatiilor pentru telefoanele mobile, PsyPills (Psychological Pills – Pastile Psihologice – marca protejata ORDA) se afla pe locul 34 in topul vanzarilor in tara de sisteme de tip App dedicate stilului de viata (https://www.similarweb.com/apps/top/apple/store-rank/ro/lifestyle/top-paid/iphone). PsyPills este disponibila atat in limba romana, cat si in limba engleza. Aplicatia vizeaza autocontrolul si reglarea emotionala, prin “pastile psihologice” care diagnosticheaza si reduc irationalitatea si dezvolta rationalitatea, cu scopul final de a reduce emotiile negative nesanatoase si de a creste starea de bine/calitatea vietii prin emotii sanatoase. PsyPills poate fi utilizata in servicii clinice, terapie autoadministrata (cu monitorizare terapeutica), psihoeducatie, dar si in cercetare. Aplicatia PsyPills a fost gandita la un pret minimal ($0.99), pentru a fi accesibila si persoanelor dezavantajate socio-economic. In plus, aplicatia elaborata de specialistii Universitatii Babes-Bolyai dispune si de o varianta (partiala) demo gratuita (MoodWheel), iar autorii isi vor da acordul pentru utilizarea gratuita a PsyPills in scopuri educationale/de cercetare.
